Adero Moore - E-RYT 200-Hour Yoga Instructor
A native of New Orleans, Adero is a lover of all things related to food, wellness and yoga! She has always had a passion for physical movement, alternative healing arts and general fitness.

Adero was introduced to yoga while recovering from a knee injury. She learned the value of utilizing yoga as a tool to aid the mind and body in the mental and physical recovery process. It was during this time that she became a regular yoga practitioner and discovered not only the physical benefits of yoga, but also how yoga plays a holistic role in improving our lives and overall wellbeing. She ultimately went on to pursue numerous trainings and certifications in Yoga.

Adero has worked with diverse populations ranging from the novice to advanced practitioner.  The last three years of her teaching have been dedicated to offering Integrative & accessible yoga to Seniors and individuals with limited mobility. She also has significant experience teaching yoga and guided meditation to substance abuse and addiction recovery patients.  Adero introduces her students to down to earth instruction in a friendly, non-threatening, judgment free environment.

As a teacher she enjoys helping her students grow and develop in their journey with yoga, and guides them in honoring and eventually moving beyond their physical and/or mental limitations. Adero believes that when practiced safely and consistently, yoga can be an empowering tool for creating long term mental and physical sustainability.

Hidden Garden Nature Preserve and Wellness Traditions Center
We’ve partnered with Rachel Thomas, the founder of the Hidden Garden Ethnobotanical Sanctuary in Costa Rica where for over 20 years she has researched the ancient healing systems of Central America and the Caribbean. Hidden Garden collects important plants that have been traditionally used for survival by local Caribbean people. Their Ethnobotanical Sanctuary serves as a community resource, supporting those who wish to continue the healing traditions of their ancestors, as well as an educational institution for documenting and disseminating information and stories about these practices. To learn more about Hidden Garden’s wellness offerings, please visit their website,

After our 1 night stay in San Jose, we will board our chartered flight to Puerto Viejo where we will spend 6 nights in our exclusive use boutique hotel, Villas Piña.

Each villa has air conditioning, a kitchenette w/refrigerator, 2 queen beds, a room safe to secure your belongings, large veranda with a garden view and a hammock. The Rancho (common area) is where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast items include fresh fruits, eggs, juice, gallo pinto and more. The Rancho also has a saltwater swimming pool, book exchange, and a large roof top sun/moon deck for sunning and star gazing.

Early risers can catch the sunrise on the magnetic black sand of Playa Negra Beach, just a short walk along our private beach path. If you’re lucky, you might even see a Sloth hanging out in a tree on the way.

The common areas, as well as each bedroom have WiFi connection, but we encourage you to unplug and spend more time connecting to yourSelf, the beautiful women sharing space with you, and the elements of nature.

At Baturi Essentials, we believe in a holistic, multisensory approach to wellness and offer the following Health Modalities: Integrative Massage and Bodywork, Vibrational Therapy, Aromatherapy, Yoga and Wellness Retreats, and Natural Hair and Body Care. It is not our intention to heal you, fix you, or to make you beautiful. You are already perfect and whole. Our purpose is to serve as a Light and provide you with the time, space, and experience to see YOU, heal YOU, and to BE YOU.

Shared accommodation for TAO Being Retreat is $2200 per person. Pay in full to take advantage of our $1900 rate. To provide you with the personalized attention that you deserve, we’ve limited our capacity to 10 women. A deposit of $500 will secure your reservation.
